Premier League Clubs Face $1.26B Reduction In 19-20 Revenues

Deloitte estimates that Premier League clubs will face a £1 billion ($1.26 billion) reduction in 19-20 revenues due to COVID-19.

The Premier League will resume its season on June 17th.

Premier League clubs posted a record £5 billion in revenues last season.

Deloitte said that half of the Premier League\'s reduction in revenue, due to rebates to broadcasters and a loss of matchday revenue, will be \"permanently lost.\" The remaining £500 million will likely be deferred, depending on the go ahead of the 2021-22 season.
