Robin Van Persie Insists He Wants To Remain At United
Robin van Persie insists he wants to remain at Manchester United.
Van Persie and manager David Moyes reportedly have a strained relationship and he has been linked to transfer to Juventus.
“The truth is I’m very happy here at this club," said van Persie. "I signed for four years and I’d be delighted to stay even longer, beyond the next two years I have left on my contract. This is how I feel, although it’s not what has been suggested in the media.”
Van Persie’s former Holland team-mate Ronald de Boer had said he was not enjoying playing for United and could leave.
Van Persie signed a four-year deal in 2012 with his expiration date not until 2016.
