Umbro, Adidas Trying To Take Nike's Kit Deal With United

Umbro will meet with Manchester United in hopes of becoming their official kit sponsor.
Nike sold off Umbro in October 2012 for $225 million just five years after purchasing the brand for $582 million.
Ownership of Umbro also brought along the kit sponsorships for three prominent soccer teams: Manchester United, Manchester City and England’s national team.
Nike is prepared to play approximately $115 million per year for 10 seasons to renew its sponsorship with United.
Adidas is also interested in securing a deal with United.
