Chelsea will face Atético Madrid in the Champions League Semifinals, while Bayern Munich and Real Madrid match up in the other tie.
UEFA has informed Chelsea that they will face disciplinary proceedings should they attempt to make Atlético pay €6 million for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to play in the tie. Courtois is on loan from Chelsea to Atleti.
Pep Guardiola is very familiar with Real Madrid from his time at Barcelona.
