Julian Draxler is expected to remain at Schalke through the summer unless something extraordinary happens.
Schalke rejected an offer for Draxler during the winter transfer window. Draxler has been linked to Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Draxler has a 45.5 million euro release clause.
“Should nothing extraordinary happen, Julian will stay,” Clemens Toennies told Sport Bild. “I am convinced that he will be here for even longer than just that one season. We will see after that.”
