Everton has agreed upon a five-year extension with Roberto Martínez to remain manager through the 18-19 season.
Martínez joined Everton from Wigan Athletic last summer and guided Everton to a fifth place finish in the Premier League. Everton will play in the Europa League group stage next season.
Martínez is serving as analyst for ESPN during the World Cup.
