Report: Barcelona Close To Deal For Luis Su

Barcelona is preparing a £52 million signing of Luis Suárez, according to Spanish paper El Mundo Deportivo.
The report indicates that the £68 million release clause in Suárez's most recent contract is reduced to £52 million if Barcelona or Real Madrid expressed interest.
Real Madrid has also been interested in Suárez, while Barcelona considered bids for Robin van Persie and Marco Reus. The interest from Real Madrid has cooled recently, as they appear comfortable keeping their Champions League winning attack unchanged.
Suárez scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League matches for Liverpool last season.
