Luis Suárez and Giorgio Chiellini had a clash in last year's Confederations Cup in the third place match between Uruguay and Italy.
Suárez appeared to attempt to bite Chiellini on the right shoulder after the Italian defender kept him out of reach of the ball before clearing it.
Suárez is believed to have bitten Chiellini in Tuesday's World Cup match, which FIFA is currently investigating.
