Arsenal and Liverpool are bidding over a transfer for Alexis Sánchez of Barcelona.
Arsenal opened talks with a very low £22 million offer, but Liverpool has already reportedly offered £30 million.
Barcelona and Liverpool are discussing a transfer involving Luis Suárez, which is motivating the Catalan club to use Sánchez as a makeweight.
Sánchez prefers a move to Arsenal over Liverpool, though he's also interested in Manchester United. Sánchez grew up as a supporter of United.
