Manchester United have become the favorites for Ángel di María after Paris Saint-Germain took themselves out of the running for a deal with Real Madrid.
“We spoke to Real about Di María but he was too expensive,” said PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Di María preferred a transfer to PSG over United, in part because Louis van Gaal's side won't be in the Champions League this season.
