Atlético Madrid have launched a bid for Mexico striker Raúl Jiménez as they bid to further bolster their attacking ranks.
Atleti has struggled to score goals in the preseason.
Club America president Jose Romano said that he will leave it to fans of the club to make a decision on whether Jiménez is sold.
He said: "We had an Atlético de Madrid offer for Raúl Jiménez, but we will not accept or reject it, as we want to gather our fans' opinion regarding this.
"If the offer is good, I guess the player will leave."
