Liverpool has completed a £16 million transfer with A.C. Milan for Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli has signed a three-year contract that contains a club option for a fourth.
Balotelli trained at Melwood on Monday before traveling to Manchester to watch his new teammates play against Manchester City.
Balotelli will wear No. 45 for Liverpool, the same number he wore for City.
“I’m happy to be back because I left England and it was a mistake. I wanted to go to Italy but I realised it was a mistake … English football is generally better. English football is beautiful.”
