Chelsea Interested In Pre-Contract Agreement With Sami Khedira

Chelsea will offer Sami Khedira a pre-contract in January, according to a report in the London Evening Standard.
Khedira would likely cost approximately $16 million to buy in January, but the two sides are willing to wait until the summer so he can move for free.
José Mourinho worked with Khedira at Real Madrid and acquiring him would allow Chelsea to move Cesc Fabregas to a more advanced role. Khedira and Nemanja Matic would give Chelsea a superb pair of holding midfielders.
Arsenal is also highly interested in Khedira.
