United Agrees Upon Provisional Deal With Ron Vlaar

Aston Villa is holding out for a £12 million transfer from Manchester United for Ron Vlaar.
Vlaar was one of United manager Louis van Gaal's key defenders during the 2014 World Cup with the Netherlands.
Vlaar has already agreed upon personal terms with United on a provisional basis.
Vlaar's contract is up at the end of the season when he would be available on a free transfer.
United have appeared to lack leadership and organisation in defence following the departures of senior defenders Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra in the summer.
Ryan Shawcross of Stoke City is another option for United if they're unable to acquire Vlaar in January.
