Best Fixtures Of The Weekend: Marseille/PSG, Chelsea/Liverpool

Marseille at Paris Saint-Germain (12:00 PM EST): Marcelo Bielsa is a fascinating genius and we have to enjoy his time at Marseille while it lasts, particuarly with Marseille four points clear of PSG in Ligue 1. Bielsa of course has Marseille playing a style that is exhausting to watch, let alone play, and it has produced more than two goals per match. Adding to the intrigue is the probable return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for PSG. There's too much season left to say Ligue 1 is entirely at stake, but three points for Marseille would give them quite a comfortable cushion.

Chelsea at Liverpool (Saturday, 7:45 AM EST): The last visit by José Mourinho and Chelsea to Anfield ended with Steven Gerrard on the ground and Liverpool's title hopes in shambles. Chelsea is playing at a completely different level compared to Liverpool, who are still missing Daniel Sturridge, which has made the exit of Luis Suárez even more pronounced. The only hope for Liverpool is that they're catching Chelsea during a bit of a lull in which they are beginning to pace themselves for a long season.

Borussia Monchengladbach at Borussia Dortmund (Sunday, 11:30 AM EST): Okay, this is really it for Jürgen Klopp and Dortmund... With another win this week in the Champions League, Dortmund now has more points in that competition than they do in the Bundesliga. Gladbach is third and haven't been beaten in 18 matches this season. It will be especially difficult for Dortmund to keep Gladbach's masterfully timed counterattack runs from scoring multiple goals.
