Andrea Pirlo Wins Third Straight Serie A Player Of The Year

Andrea Pirlo has been voted as the best player in Serie A last season by his fellow professionals, which marks the third straight season he has won the award.
"It's always a great pleasure to win this award," Pirlo said during a gala evening in Milan. "It means that I've done well and that I am maintaining myself at the highest level. I'd like to thank all of my colleagues who have voted for me. I'm very honoured."
He joins Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the only other player to have won the award three times.
