Jeremy Menez Using Totti, Inzaghi As Role Models
Jeremy Menez has revealed he is using Roma's Francesco Totti and AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi as role models as he looks to perfect his abilities as a striker.
"I know Totti well. For me, he is an example. He is a great player like few I’ve seen in my career," Menez told Corriere dello Sport.
"Yes, I would like to do as he (Inzaghi) did, every day I try. I want to improve my instincts in the box, too.
"I was always convinced of my ability. In addition to the goals, I seem to do very well tactically because I occupy a large portion of the field.
"I had said that my first target this season was to go into double digits, surpassing 10 goals. Before now I was not so focused on scoring. Now, I realise that it’s nice and I want to do even better for the future.
“I have a great team behind me and I can just focus on my role."
