France Extends Didier Deschamps' Contract Until 2018

Didier Deschamps has signed a new contract which will keep him at the helm of the France national team until the 2018 World Cup. The 46-year-old took charge of Les Bleus in July 2012, replacing Laurent Blanc who resigned following the European Championship.
France barely qualified for the World Cup, but advanced to the quarterfinals.
