Luis Suárez defended the play of Neymar in Barcelona's 2-1 win over Real Madrid. Neymar missed a sitter and was criticized for not playing an obvious pass on multiple occasions.
“He was right to try and finish his chances and not pass,” Suárez told RAC1. “Strikers are selfish. He is a key player and I’m convinced that he will win the Ballon d’Or.”
Suárez is in his first season playing with Neymar, who himself is in his second season at Barcelona.
