Aston Villa will name Remi Garde manager before their match on Monday against Tottenham.
Villa fired Tim Sherwood last week and have targeted the former Lyon manager as his replacement.
Garde is currently employed as a match expert for the French broadcaster Canal+, which reported on Sunday that he is to become the new Villa manager.
