Chelsea have told Pep Guardiola's representatives they plan on offering him a significantly larger contract than Manchester City.
Roman Abramovich has longed coveted Guardiola, trying to bring him to the club in 2013 when they instead hired Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea also promised a significant amount of money to spend on transfers to make the roster in Guardiola's image.
