Real Sociedad have opened a disciplinary case to investigate the absence of Carlos Vela from their training session on Monday.
The club announced they would give Vela time to present his case. Spanish media reports say Vela skipped training to attend a Chris Brown concert in Madrid after photos of the striker appeared on social media. Vela reportedly told the club he had a bout of gastroenteritis.
Vela has admitted his mistake and has apologized to his teammates and the coaching staff. He did not train with the team on Wednesday, the report said.
