Louis Van Gaal Insists He'll Remain As United Manager

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun May 1, 2016 2:59 pm

Louis van Gaal insists he will remain as manager of Manchester United next season.

Van Gaal also says he wanted to sign a two-year deal but it was the club who insisted on a three-year deal.

Speaking to British Sunday newspapers, Van Gaal said: "We always knew that the process would take three years. I wanted to sign only for two years. The club wanted me to sign for three years, not me. I signed for three years -- so next year you will see me again.

"Every week for six months I have been sacked -- and yet I am still here. But this has happened to me at every club I have been at."

Van Gaal replaced David Moyes in 2014 after his tenure with the Netherlands ended with the World Cup.

Jose Mourinho has been consistently linked to the United job since he was fired by Chelsea and there are reports he has a pre-contract.

But this has happened to me at every club I have been at." That's because you're a horrible coach and cancer. ManU royally screwed themselves and their fans.
