If Manchester United retains Louis van Gaal as manager, David De Gea will again seek a transfer in the summer.
De Gea was sold to Real Madrid but the parties were unable to submit his paperwork in time for the deal to be completed. De Gea was going to sign a contract worth £9.2 million per season through 2021 with Real Madrid and Keylor Navas would have gone to Manchester United.
De Gea has since signed an extension with United.
Jose Mourinho, who is represented by De Gea's agent Jorge Mendes, reportedly has a pre-contract agreement with United.
