Chelsea are one of several teams vying to sign Mahmoud Dahoud of Borussia Monchengladbach during the summer transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus also have interest in signing Dahoud.
Dahoud, 21, is out of contract at Gladbach in summer 2018 and has refused to sign an extension.
There are reports coming out of Germany, however, that Dahoud has already agreed to join Dortmund for around €10 million.
Antonio Conte’s side have been in the market for a box-to-box midfielder for several months.
