Christian Pulisic's father has told Sport Bild there is "no reason" for his son to move to Bayern Munich at the moment.
Pulisic recently signed a new deal with Dortmund through 2020.
In March, former Bayern midfielder Mehmet Scholl linked Pulisic with a switch to the Bundesliga champions, saying he "could imagine Bayern might approach him because he has that special quality."
But Pulisic's father Mark said: "Those are flattering words. Of course he dreams of playing for big clubs.
"But he is already at a great club and Bayern are a competitor. Thus there is currently no reason for him to go there."
