Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Nemanja Matic from Chelsea.
The transfer would reunite Matic with Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea bought Matic from Benfica in January of 2014 for £21 million and he was critical in their 14-15 Premier League title.
Tiemoue Bakayoko, Mourinho's No. 1 option for the holding role, is expected to sign for Chelsea from Monaco.
Mourinho has so far added just one player to his squad since the end of last season, with Sweden defender Victor Lindelof arriving at United from Benfica earlier this month.
