Tottenham Hotspur have the option to extend the contract of Erik Lamela by one year until the summer of 2020.
Lamela joined Spurs from Roma in 2013 for £30 million.
Lamela's time with Spurs has been marred by injuries but he's been playing more of late.
“Obviously, I’m happy at Tottenham,” Lamela told the Guardian in an interview last month. “If not, I would have left. I feel a part of the club, I’m at home here. I am not thinking about how long is left on my contract.”
