More than 3.5 billion people - over half of the world population over four-and-a-half years old - watched some of the 2018 World Cup.
1.12 billion people watched at least 1 minute of the final between France and Croatia.
An average of 191 million viewers watched each match in 2018, up from 187 million viewers-per-match in 2014.
