Maurizio Sarri is now confident he will remain as manager of Chelsea next season.
Sarri\'s job was in jeopardy but Chelsea played well in their loss to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup before winning successive matches in the Premier League. Chelsea are now only five points behind Spurs for third place with a game in hand.
“I’m confident,” he added of his own future. “I was confident in the past, and I am confident now. But I want to think only about our performances and our results, nothing else.”
Sarri has now even begun planning Chelsea\'s preseason schedule with the club\'s hierarchy.
