Lionel Messi has decided to play for Manchester City.
Messi informed Barcelona he intends to leave the club by terminating his contract. Messi\'s contract has contained a provision that allows him to leave Barcelona at the end of any season. Messi believes that the suspension of the season due the COVID-19 pandemic allows him to now decide to leave Barcelona.
Messi and Pep Guardiola have spoken about the possibility of reuniting with City for the 20-21 season.
