Liverpool are facing a decision over the future of Mohamed Salah this summer, sources tell ESPN.
Salah is believed to be interested in a new challenge and intermediaries have privately expressed the belief a transfer might be possible. Real Madrid and Barcelona are two potential clubs who could afford a transfer for Salah, though they also have interest in Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool is likely to miss out on the Champions League, which will drop their anticipated revenues.
Salah has two seasons remaining on his contract.
