United Close To Signing Raphael Varane From Real Madrid

Manchester United are close to a transfer agreement with Real Madrid for Raphael Varane. Varane\'s contract was set to expire in 2022.
When contacted by ESPN, a source at Manchester United confirmed there had been \"some discussions\" regarding Varane, but added that no time frame for a transfer is in place.
United are confident that a deal can be done for a fee in the region of €50 million ($59 million).
Real Madrid may attempt to sign Pau Torres of Villarreal to replace Varane.
