Brighton has rejected a second offer from Chelsea for Moises Caicedo worth $91.53 million.
Mauricio Pochettino seeks to bolster his midfield options following the departures of Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City and N\'Golo Kante to Al Ittihad.
Caicedo, 21, has joined up with Brighton in the United States for their preseason tour, and the club are in a strong negotiating position given he signed a new contract in March that runs to the end of the 2026-27 season.
Brighton values him at £100 million.
