Arsenal has completed a $53.9 million transfer with Bologna for Riccardo Calafiori. Calafiori has signed a five-year contract and will wear No. 33 for the Gunners.

\"I spoke a lot with the coach, with Edu & they convinced me, but I was already convinced by myself. I think it\'s the best project for myself for the next [few] years.\"
Calafiori mostly played center-back last season under Thiago Motta, but he can also play left-back, which gives Arsenal\'s strong backline even more versatility.
