Florian Wirtz is on the verge of a contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen. Wirtz is a top target of a number of clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Wirtz has indicated he would like to remain with Leverkusen, particularly if Xabi Alonso also commits long-term to the club.
