City Ramp Up Efforts To Sign Florian Wirtz From Leverkusen

Manchester City are trying to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen as the club looks to improve its midfield. While Liverpool has also expressed interest in Wirtz, they expect him to eventually be sold to Bayern Munich.
It is believed Leverkusen would prefer to sell Wirtz to a Premier League club rather than keeping him in the Bundesliga. Wirtz hasn\'t finalized a decision on his future.
Wirtz is viewed by City as an ideal replacement for Kevin de Bruyne.
