Manchester United have shifted their attention away from Carlos Baleba as transfer talks with Brighton have not progressed. Brighton is seeking a transfer fee similar to the one they agreed to with Chelsea for Moises Caicedo worth $155 million.
Baleba was United\'s priority midfield target and he had interest in a deal to Old Trafford.
United started Casemiro in midfield beside Bruno Fernandes in their opening week loss to Arsenal.
Morten Hjulmand and Adam Wharton are a couple alternatives that could boost United\'s midfield at a more affordable cost than Baleba.
