Leandro Trossard, Arsenal Agree To Improved Contract

Leandro Trossard and Arsenal have agreed to a contract adjustment with a significant pay raise though the deal will not extend past its previous mark of 2027. Trossard had been in talks with Arsenal for an extended period to improve his compensation and was a transfer candidate if a deal couldn\'t be reached.
Arsenal signed Trossard from Brighton in January 2023 for $36 million. Trossard has scored 28 goals and provided 23 assists in 124 matches as he has played a number of roles.
Gabriel Martinelli started on the left wing for Arsenal in their opening match against Manchester United with new signing Noni Madueke replacing him in that position in the second half.
