^I sure hope this is a joke, or it's the worst trade of all-time....

Nothing done yet.... but

Toronto FC trying to trade De Rosario

The long and drawn-out Dwayne De Rosario-Toronto FC saga may soon come to an end, as the Reds are looking into trading their all-time leading scorer.

Rumours on Friday had TFC dealing De Rosario to the New York Red Bulls, but the Canadian club said Friday that is not the case.

De Rosario did not attend Friday's training session in Oakville, Ont., but he is still in Toronto, the team said.

A trade involving De Rosario, a 32-year-old native of the Scarborough area of Toronto, would hardly come as a surprise, considering how the star player has been embroiled in a public spat with team management over his salary.

De Rosario is in the second half of a four-year deal with the Reds. He earned $443,750 US during the 2010 Major League Soccer season — well behind the club's top earner, fellow Canadian Julian de Guzman ($1,717,546).

De Guzman is the team's only existing designated player, after Spanish star Mista was let go in the off-season. But De Rosario felt he should also be given a DP contract and the pay increase that comes with it.

TFC press conference called for tomorrow.

Looks like he has been traded, three possible teams in the mix right now but it will likely be the Red Bulls.

Congratulations to Real Salt Lake for making the finals of the CONCACAF Champions League.

Would love to see an MLS team win it all.

I wonder if Baldomero Toledo made it out of Vancouver alive. He has to be the worst referee in MLS history.

Eric Hassli is a bit of a bonehead though and already has his second red for the season.

6 Yellows and 3 Reds for Toledo last night, he sure loves those cards.

two posts by Agudelo and the Red Bulls somehow lost 1-0 to Philadelphia. Their defense just seemed to break down with ridiculous errors on too many occasions. I haven't been able to catch many games yet, but NY looks like they have potential if their defenders can play a full game without unforced errors.

TFC plays to the draw again. I thought JDG changed the play drastically for us. We were a different and much better team with him in the second half.

Vancouver plays again tonight against Houston.

Theyre gonna need to start showing something worse than a red card in MLS. Awful week for officiating, weak red cards all around

Vancouver had what was likely their worst game to date in MLS last night.

Only two shots on goal and a tough lesson that this league isn't as easy as it seemed when they beat TFC.

I'll have the schedule and standings up later today..

If that doesnt pump any RSL fan up, i dont know what will. It should be a great game. hoping Jazz and RSL both pull wins so we can go 2-0 on our Rocky Mountain foe for tonight.
