Atlanta, while not official yet, is pretty much a done deal from what I understand.

I think expansion is great if it means more teams making use of their youth systems and try to develop homegrown talents. What scares me about these new heavy spending owner coming to the league they turn this into a league where winning is dependent on spending money on big name players. Teams like my beloved RSL will only go so far with the little resources they have. I'm not saying I don't want big names in this league, I would just hate to see it become a league with 2-3 super teams competing for MLS Cup every year.

Expansion is great and I think the league will easily handle it.

I'm not thrilled about Atlanta though, as traditionally it's a terrible sports town. Hawks for example see little support.

The end of that RSL-Vancouver game was like a punch to the gut. RSL has been terrible late in games.

Than we score 2 goals late and beat Chicago. What a crazy season so far.

Went to the TFC game yesterday... Same old TFC... Even after spending millions of dollars.

feels good to be on this side of a late comeback. Ballsy win from the claret and cobalt.

Scoring chances are just too far apart. We go through long droughts of nothing even when we dominate the ball.

Sometimes it looks like we are too timid to push forward with that final step.

Another big win for Seattle.

They have to be the early favourite.

L.A. vs Portland was a lot of fun today.

Both goals coming in stoppage time at the end of the game.

RSL finally won at Houston in the humid weather, now just 2 back of Seattle who got creamed by New England 5-0. Just take care of business at home and we could be on top soon.

May 31st is going to be a hell of a match. Its too bad it'll be watered down by the World Cup. (heh, who would have thought that'd be a problem in an MLS match 10 years ago :D )

So how does everyone feel about the new TV deal?

Nothing changes here in Canada until 2016, but I think the US ended up with a pretty good deal.

More games on TV is the goal and they got that. Not sure about a Spanish language channel getting exclusive games though.
