RSL down 1...

now with 20 mins left they're tryin hard for the tie, which would be enough for them to win. I think they'll get it unless Monterrey can catch them on a counter attack

Heartbreak for RSL... A win would have been huge for MLS.

It's a pity they won't be competing again this season in the CONCACAF Champions League.

very tough one to swallow, but the atmosphere at Rio Tinto last night was unbelievable. I hope this game brings more popularity to the sport just here in Utah alone, the fans were great last night. The entire stadium stood the whole game!

Real Salt Lake gave it their all, just wasn't the night i guess. Monterrey is a hell of a team, but theyre gonna lose to Chivas this weekend :D

Another weekend, another loss by TFC... Blah, what a horrible season.

I'll have the current standings and schedule up in a bit.

Melbourne Victory are currently playing Gamba Osaka from Japan. They really need a win to progress to the next round of the Asian Champions' League.

I really, really want Melbourne Victory to lose.

My point is that what you have in MLS, supporting each others' teams simply because they are MLS, is quite unique.

MLS has updated their website, what do you think?

http://www.mlssoccer.com/

I think it's 1000% better, I hated the old site, very poorly put together. Things looks a lot better organized now.

 that is a great point. I know for my beloved Juventus, I always root against Inter in champions league, with exception to last year because Italy was at risk of losing a CL spot (happened anyway).

The MLS only formed in the 1993, and has come a long way. It's nice for an American to see the league and sport growing, as well as the league rivalries which are still pretty weak for now. For me, the thought of having Real Salt Lake able to possibly go against the likes of Barcelona/ManUtd in a competitive match, even if they'd get spanked, would have been a huge step for the game here. Maybe next year 8-)

I'm embarrassed to say, but no. Either too late at night (2pm Central is 3.30am here) or no good streams, which is limited by my computer's inability to run high-quality streams.
