Garbage.

Seriously, these late goals happen way too often.

Disappointing...that should have been 3 points. I can't stand these late goals that we always see, it's getting ridiculous.

I agree.

It just seems to happen way too often. Looks like every Eastern side around us is going to win this weekend too, so TFC should be in full panic mode.

Fire haven't scored more than a goal in what seems like forever. It will be interesting to see if he changes that.

I wouldn't mind if he got one, as along as we end up with more, haha.

I blame you Ozzy!

Jokes aside, what a terrible result. 2 points gone just like that. This team is a tactical mess.

How many times do we have to see Jackson blow it until we give Ashton a chance at LB?

Is Bradley still tired from the WC? Surprised he's not more of a game changer like Higuaín. He should feed the speed of Toronto's attacking front. Probably not athletic or fast enough to play as an attacking midfielder. Time to scale back that salary.

Steven Caldwell (Quad) out 2 weeks
Justin Morrow (Hamstring) out 3-4 weeks

That's gonna hurt.

Yup, brutal timing too.

The East is really tightening up.

Injury Update: Jermain Defoe is expected to be out until the end of September due to a right adductor strain.

Well then...

A trainer or two should be fired.

It was obvious they he came back too early. Gilberto was doing just fine while he rested.

I dont watch soccer to much, but is our defense bad? I always seems we are giving up 2 goals or so.

NE dominated.
lots of bad passes and turnovers by Toronto
some times, it looked as if they were avoiding passing the ball to Bradley
the Toronto players, were getting in each others way
bad game for Toronto
nice game for NE

The entire coaching staff is gone save for Bent. This is madness, topped off by rumours of Defoe moving to QPR due to Leiweke fall-out.

We couldn't last a season ...

This is actually embarrassing for a franchise still trying to clean off its previous embarrassments...sigh :nonono:

Greg Vanney will take over on an interim basis. He is that assistant GM.

Questions is, how the hell do you find a staff at this point - especially for someone who will not be at the helm past this season.

The other questiom is, how do you convince your current and any future players, that coming and staying here is a good, stable option.

OT: TFC's Implosion And Its Impact On The Raptors

Post#1520 » by Scarface844 » Sun Aug 31, 2014 8:02 pm

Don't follow soccer or hockey but it does have an impact on us and the Leafs. TL brought stability and leadership to a dysfunctional organization and now with him leaving, it's caused Toronto FC to implode.

Supposedly the coach of FC that just got fired was someone TL supported so it pretty much means that TL no longer has any control and is just here for name sake until a replacement can be found.

Hopefully Masai & TL were telling the truth when they said the board was very supportive of Masai and the direction of the Raptors. If not, we're going to start seeing ownership meddling in once again and I could see Masai leaving and being replaced.
