Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
Big win by TFC. I was disappointed by the turn-out though. They only sold like 3000 tickets because season ticket holders got free tickets. This would have a much better turn-out if the mods had not made the TERRIBLE decision to move all threads like this off the Raptors board. Somehow it is okay for every other teams board but not us.
That still bugs me now.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
It is because we have the "luxury" of having a suplemental board and most teams do not.
Are you actually suggesting that there would be more fans at the game had we left this on the Raps board??
It was a good match to be at, they all are.
The rain wasnt much of an issue in the stands.
I hope we can eek out a W against DC today, I predict a 1-0 win for the Reds

Of course not. I am saying more people would respond to this thread if it was on the Raptors board.

Wynne needs to work on keeping his arms at the side of his body. That is 3 points he has cost us now. We must lead the lead in penalty kicks given up. It seems like every game we give one up.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
What a horrible result, I'll take the point but we had that game.
I can't believe Wynne stuck his arm out again, I doubt he could of avoided the ball but still it really hurts.
The first tie came and then BAM we got the lead back so quickly, what a game, and what a horrible result.

Good article. Talks about the handball and the difference between Cronin and Wynne.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
The only "Impact" Montreal will have is our shots finding the back of their net.
Go Reds

Great to get 3 points, but lets work on finishing a lot of our chances.

Montreal and Vancouver play tonight. TFC fans should be hoping for a draw.

Vancouver won 2-0. We now want Montreal to win the next game so we only need to tie one of our last two to win the tournament.

I don't see Montreal winning a game this time around, so TFC will need to make sure they beat Vancouver again.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
Great win today.
The team is rounding into form scoring wise and finally putting together some solid plays going towards the net. The front line is starting to look organized which I think we really lacked in the past.

I hope we do not hear too much whining. We had the talent to qualify and choked. That is on the players and they should NOT get a free pass.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
Way to **** the bed tonight boys.
Cummins with some terrible selections to start the game. Wynne has no touch, he should never play up front. I think Vitti should have been in as a striker and Velez off the team with Wynne back in his spot. Even loading up the midfield with maybe Ibrahim or Rickettes would have been a better strategy tonight.
Heres hoping they come out in Vancouver.
