Re: Official Toronto FC Thread
Though it's only a rumour right now, there is a strong possibility that Pizza Pizza will become our kit sponsor.

If that becomes our jersey I will refuse to buy one till they change sponsor. I'll definitely pick up an older Bradley Jersey though.
I hate pizza pizza. I also think its an ugly jersey.

That's almost as bad as the Chevy Man U jersey.

Re: Official Toronto FC Thread
I don't get why Pizza Pizza would want this sponsorship. If you are live in Toronto, you must be living under a rock if you don't know about Pizza Pizza. They have no locations in the U.S., so there is no need for exposure in that market. Also, if this deal goes through, I think it will be one of the worst, if not the worst shirt sponsor in MLS. I really would not spend over $100 to buy one of these. It's disappointing, I really hope BMO just renews their contract. I would prefer Tim Horton's at this point. MLSE always finds a way to pick the worst possible option. First the Raps new logo, now this.

Disgusting.
And it'll be orange on our white jersey if it goes through. I'm going to throw up.

Looks like it won't be Pizza Pizza.

Or more likely, it was going to be Pizza Pizza until MLSE saw the fan reaction.

Lmao. Y'all dodged a bullet there.
I've only been to Canada a few times. Is Pizza Pizza your equivalent to Dominos/Pizzahut/Papa John's? Any good?

We have Dominos and Pizzahut. It's just a Canadian version, but crappier. Pizzahut and Dominos are cutting into their market share.

we have dominoes and pizza hut here but no papa Johns's. Its average pizza at a cheap price. Cheaper then Pizza Hut and they probably have the biggest market share of pizza here in toronto/ontario.

Re: Official Toronto FC Thread
Was at a TFC media thing today up at Downsview. No pics, little happened. Some off-field stuff: still photos, some stadium screen PSAs like, "If the ball is kicked into the stands, return it... Happy Mother's Day... teleprompter clunkiness. On-field stuff too. High speed shots of mugging, juggling, empty-nettering and drum beating(?). Also, there was a bird. The good players did very little, by choice. "Nah." Giovinco, almost nothing. They'd throw him the ball to juggle and he'd catch it and drop it to feet. He beat the stupid drum 10 times and rubbed his shoulder like he was fouled. I was disappointed but still laughed. He's just so little. Bradley's head is bigger than him. Altidore seemed like a good guy, joking around and kicking balls at guys being filmed. The domed pitch sucked and the -33 tundra up there was depressing, so, good on him I guess.

Gilberto has been loaned out.
I'm guessing that relationship is now damaged, but it leaves the door open for him to return if MLS adds another DP spot.

BMO is Back!

2 year deal, that expires the same time the field naming rights do. So MLSE can cash in on both with a new sponsor, or re-up with BMO once again.
