#RSL mid Will Johnson said he's heard a rumor Saturday's match might be postponed because of Thursday night's Journey concert.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
watching the replay of the RSL PK, it is a Sabo dive, but honestly, it feels good to be on this side of a bad call. Still, very poor reffing being showcased on behalf of MLS, doesnt look good for this league.

That was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. SJ broadcasters were right on. I mean RSL should not need any help against SJ. I am honestly embarrassed for the league after that one. I stopped watching the game after the call.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
Dont forget tonight...

Manchester United vs MLS All Stars
Red Bull Arena, New York at 8:30 ET
MLS starting XI will be announced later today but here is their full roster
GK: Tally Hall(Houston), Faryd Mondragon(Philadelphia), Kasey Keller(Seattle)
DF: Corey Ashe(Houston), Matt Besler(Kansas City), Geoff Cameron(Houston), Bobby Convey(San Jose), Sean Franklin(Los Angeles), Jamison Olave(Salt Lake), Heath Pearce(Chivas USA), Tim Ream (New York)
MF: Kyle Beckerman(Salt Lake), David Beckham(Los Angeles), Brad Davis(Houston), Jack Jewsbury(Portland), Sharlie Joseph(New England), Nick LaBrocca(Chivas USA)
FW: Juan Agudelo(New York), Omar Bravo(Kansas City), Omar Cummings(Colorado), Thierry Henry(New York), Chris Wondolowski(San Jose)
I do expect ManU to take this one easily again this year. I'm hoping some this MLS squad show some fight and keep it under 4 goals
No Chicharito tonight from what I've read, which is a shame, I remember his Manchester debut against last years MLS team and scoring his first goal against Nick Rimando. Bittersweet goal, but mostly sweet. Arriba la Chiva!

Looks like Saborio is getting a one game suspension for his dive, it could be announced tomorrow. Glad to see the league stepping up and showing everyone that they are not tolerating diving, but what does it mean if it happens again? Next player to do it gets a 2 games suspension/bigger fine? Are they going to keep raising the penalty everytime someone gets a diving PK? Because honestly, this dive isnt that much different than the Davies dive that got him a $1,000 fine.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
It will be interesting to see what TFC does with tonight's game.
Should they play the young guys and forget about the win so they can focus on Champions League or should they go all out and try to win a game over another team at the bottom of the standings?

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
Awful game by RSL, we're never going to win the Supporters Shield. Especially with LA playing the way they are, they are definitely the team to beat this year and with the MLS cup being in LA this year, it going to be tough. I hope they make a good run at CCL this year too, because they are legit contender imo.
NYRB won the Emirates Cup, hope that was worth it for them

The nyrb game was a good defensive game to watch...what I saw of it anyways. I left about halfway through the second half and NY was down by a goal, what happened? Did they win on penalty kicks?
Go ReAL!

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
They won because they had the most points in the table. The own goal at the end locked it up for them. I do wonder tho, why do they only play two games in a 4 team table?

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
I was so happy to get a tie in Portland, TFC looked really good in the second half and deserved it.
I have to admit too, the crowd in Portland is the best in MLS in my opinion. Better then both Toronto and Seattle.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
TFC just traded their captain, I don't even know what to think at this point.
So many changes... I hardly recognize the team at all.
