Pretty boring game, but that was a great combo from Labracca to Barret with the shot and Dero with the rebound.

The main objective for TFC is not losing, so a boring game is expected. Now it's only TFC and Whitecaps.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
really thought TFC would fall apart at the end there but they managed to hold on, and Frei came up huge. Well earned point.

His career is winding down, but he's not done yet. This is going to be big for the league and hopefully more talent decides to head over... to TFC

Yea I can understand making MLS the grey bush league, LA and NY land the first big names.
Someday I hope Samuel Eto'o makes his way over for the reds.

I am not sure how I feel about this. Sportsnet did a fantastic job before Setanta came around and was still doing a good job.
TSN2 has come to terms on a multi-year agreement that will give the network Canadian broadcast rights to exclusive Barclays Premier League (BPL) matches over the next three seasons.

TSN2 has a lot of time to fill so hopefully they also had a pre and post game show.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
TFC is playing great right now.
It's nice to get a win without our best player.

Champions once again!
I hope they add FC Edmonton next year to create a 4 team tournament.

That would be excelent. We also need two more teams in the USL(or whatever league) the Whitecaps and Impact used to play in.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
The defense once again looks terrible in the last few minutes of the game. They really need to focus on slowing the game down and letting the clock wind down.

Great win though against an improved team. They now move into a playoff spot. Frei is the man. I love how upright he plays. Haven't really seen that way of playing too mu h in my limied soccer experiences.

Re: The Official Major League Soccer Thread
I heard the Vancouver Whitecaps will be announcing a new kit and team name on the 8th.
I really hope they don't change much. Just add FC to the end of Whitecaps and slightly change the crest.
Also the rumour is that TELUS will sponsor their kit.
