That's a fine stadium you've got there.

BTW: Hopefully Kaka won't be out for too long.

Impressive debut for the stadium and nice win. The theatrics of the place were stunning, looked amazing on good TV.

That's too bad.
Though, that's probably something young have to live with having Kaka on your team.
The guy's in his mid 30's and has been quite injury prone during his career.

Good win. The environment was really cool outside of the scum bag NY fans who attacked a cop, other than that, a good day. Quick question, I'm interested in peoples thoughts on the where the arena is situated? Right in the middle of Parramore seemed like an odd place for an arena. I wonder if the city "will clean" it up like they did they built the Amway Center. I personally hope so.

Kaka being out six weeks is mitigated by the fact that we don't really play too many games during that stretch. But hopefully his recovery is closer to 4 weeks than 6.

That whole Parramore area will look completely different in 10 years, prob less actually. They are building the UCF downtown campus a few blocks away. They are already building new condos and such. More projects in the works. This will be the textbook definition of gentrification. I do wonder where will those poor people that currently live there go? Its not like Central Florida rents and real estate are getting cheaper. In a few years the area will be unrecognizable.

Good. I hope thats exactly what happens. They need to clean that area up. We were walking out of that open house event, which was probably the worst run event I had ever been to, but whatever, anyway we were walking out and some old crack head was lying on the ground screaming about something cops trying help him. Families with little Kids shouldn't have to see that when they go to a soccer game. I know I wouldnt feel comfortable walking with a child through that area.

Is it any worse than where the Citrus Bowl was though? I remember having to walk a few blocks to find an Uber after a game last year and it was not great.

Tomorrow's game @ NE has been postponed due to weather.

Probably a good thing for us as it gives our guys more time to rest/heal and that's one less game without Kaka (hopefully).

Another good home win. The defense just looks more cohesive and guys like Spector and Johnson have brought in much needed leadership. Also Rivas seems to be getting better at the finesse plays. Still needs to tone it down with the crazy kicks of a foul, they are simply a waste.

Congrats OC on this beautiful stadium. There is not a bad seat in the place. Just very nice place and great design. Its freaking loud. And it you have club seats you get free food and free beer, you can't beat that.

Another home win!! Orlando City beats LA Galaxy 2-1!! My first game in the new stadium, very beautiful stadium. Was a fun game, loud crowd!! Orlando was up 1-0 and in control of the game, until Alessandrini scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute(I think Bendik should have made the save, likely read it late). Larin with the game winner in stoppage time. Will Johnson scored the opening goal for City.

Fun fact, Orlando City is the first team in MLS history, to open a stadium 4-0 :D

Gut check here today. I would love to see us get a result on their laughable pitch.

New York needs to get their **** together on a stadium...underwear boy too.
