Anyone is L.A. getting excited about the game? Can the Galaxy win it all again this year?

Alan Gordon is one of the most under appreciated MLS guys in recent years. The guy, when he's in the first XI, can go 88 minutes without making a difference, but score in stoppage time. This was definitely a game where we shouldn't have taken a point, but ecstatic to do so.

Losing Sarvas was a bigger loss than I expected, but that should be fixed when Steve comes over. I like Husidic, but not as a full time starter.

Went how I expected for the first 90 minutes. But that finish will haunt me.

Believe we are now 0-5-4 since coming back from a 3-1 halftime deficit in Colorado, during road games.

Should have taken a point against DC, and this drubbing. Arena needs to get the midfield on the same page.

Ronaldinho ‘bored’ in Mexico, interested in LA Galaxy

Image

Ronaldinho’s time in Mexico appears to be nearing its end, and the Brazilian star has reportedly set his sights on his ideal home.

According to Marca, the Brazilian legend is “bored” with life in Mexico and is hoping to make a move to join the LA Galaxy. Ronaldinho is currently with Liga MX side Queretaro and signed a two-year contract with the club in 2014.

However, reports have frequently linked Ronaldinho with a move elsewhere, with Marca stating that the 35-year-old has grown disenchanted with the lifestyle at the club. The notoriously frequent party animal has reportedly grown tired of the monotonous lifestyle with the club.

With his sights set on LA, a move to the Galaxy would seem slightly unlikely given the club’s current situation. The Galaxy currently have all three Designated Player spots filled with forward Robbie Keane, centerback Omar Gonzalez and the soon-to-be-arriving Steven Gerrard.

During his time at Queretaro, Ronaldinho made 23 appearances, scoring eight goals.

LA Galaxy announce contract extension for reigning MLS MVP Robbie Keane

MLS’ reigning MVP isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

The LA Galaxy announced Wednesday they have signed forward Robbie Keane to a contract extension. Per club and MLS policy, specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We’re very pleased Robbie will continue to be a member of the Galaxy in the coming years,” LA Galaxy head coach and general manager Bruce Arena said in a statement. “He has been one of the key pieces in our success over the past five seasons. We look forward to even more success with Robbie as a member of our team.”

Keane has totaled 55 goals in 91 appearances for the Galaxy. He recorded 19 goals and 14 assists last season in leading the Galaxy to the MLS Cup title.

Looks like MLS can't expand the number of DP's fast enough with Ronaldinho wanting to go to the Galaxy. I was always kind of curio about them using up a DP slot, because I don't really consider him anywhere close to the likes of guys like Keane, Gerrard, Ronaldinho, etc.
