NASL should be embarrassed.
That's shockingly bad for a league that markets itself as tier two soccer.

Me! We won our third round match against Chula Vista FC (an amateur club), and we'll be playing against our MLS affiliate, the San Jose Earthquakes in the next round on Wednesday.
USL's dominance of the third round against the NASL should help our quest for second division status, or at least get another conversation started. It's also a good indicator of the quality of the league.

Slow start for RSL but was able to net two in the second half. Best thing to take out of it was Plata scoring his first goal back from injury. Time to get rollin

I was worried for RSL, but they came back strong.
Think Plata is back to full form now?

Dempsey throwing the refs book and tearing up a page is the best thing to ever happen in this tournament

I was at the game last night in San Jose with the SRFC supporters group, and it was a fun and hard fought game. We had our chances to score a third goal, but it eventually went to penalties, which we lost 6-5

We may be minor league, but we can hang with the big fellas as long as Rodrigo Lopez is on the pitch. The San Jose fans were great too, and Avaya Stadium is beautiful.

I really thought you guys had it, if only you held onto that early lead.
Losing in penalties always hurts, but Sacramento will be back next year.

I think he'll be suspended for a couple future cup games and since no one cares about the cup that may prompt a fine in addition
